Foundation Luau Draws Big Conference Crowd

With the 2008 ACA Annual Conference taking place in one of the world's most beautiful places, it was only natural that the 2008 ACA Foundation Conference Reception in Hawaii was going to be something special.

Director and ACAF Secretary/Treasurer.The reception theme was a Hawaiian luau and it turned out to be one of the most popular events of the ACA conference. A record-setting 369 ACA members attended the fun event, enjoying the flavors of Hawaii in a gorgeous buffet featuring the foods of the islands.

But while the event provided great tastes and an enjoyable evening for all in attendance, it also offered the opportunity for highlighting some of the ACA Foundation's programs and accomplishments. Appreciation for what the Foundation has accomplished, and for the needs its programs are currently addressing, was reflected in the more than $2,000 in donations that were pledged at the luau.

The ACA Foundation Reception also featured the introduction of the Parsons – Rogers Society, a newly-formed ACAF-sponsored group for honoring those whose generosity helps make possible the Foundation's many programs. Recognized as members of the Parsons – Rogers Society for their contributions over the past year were:
